How does Natural State Wireless provide Service?
Natural State Wireless (NSW) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) bringing high-speed wireless internet into your homes and businesses using Point-to-Multipoint wireless radio systems.
Do I need to purchase any equipment?
There are no upfront costs for the wireless radio installed at your home. A radio installed at your home is property of NSW and should not be tampered with, to avoid disruption of service. For business clients, radios will be purchased by the client, depending on length of contract and service type.
Do we need a site survey?
We make a trip to your location to determine the signal strength you’re able to receive. Even if you’re within range, factors such as hills and valleys, buildings, or tall trees could hinder the signal. Our towers don’t have to be visible in order to provide excellent coverage, so please don’t self-exclude. Let us send a trained installer to give you the best reading.
What is the install process like?
For wireless, an antenna is installed on your home, typically pointing toward our closest tower. An ethernet cable is run from the radio to the interior of your home, providing signal to your wireless router. Custom installations can be arranged for an agreed-upon fee. An authorized individual over the age of 18 must be present for the duration of the install. It usually takes around 2-3 hours for the entire process.
How are you different from other wifi providers?
We were frustrated with trying to get reliable, high-speed internet at our home (we live “too far out”). Instead of using coaxial or copper cable to deliver your internet signal, we use long-range wireless radios. The data from your devices at home travels by radio signal to our towers, which transport it by carrier-grade fiber optic connection to the world wide web.
Will my current router work with AirSpeed?
Your current router may be compatible with our system, but because of the unique nature of our connection, we recommend that you use our routers instead.
Any problems with storms?
Bad weather alone should not affect the signal strength of our wirelss systems. We have active customers who report no issues during storms.

Will NSW fix my computer, router, or other network devices?
We do our best to provide a great experience for our customers, but we don’t officially support network equipment that isn’t installed by us. If you are having issues with connecting a device to the internet, we will do our best to help you troubleshoot over the phone, but we’re unable to provide on-site support for your interal devices. We are happy to refer you to a trusted third-party to help you with any issues.
